September 18, 2014. 1021 Washington, LLC, a new investment partnership headed by Dodson Companies, closed today on the acquisition of a 13,000 square foot medical office building at 1021 Washington Avenue. The building sat vacant for the last several years, but with its excellent location at the corner of W. Rosedale and Washington Avenue, and being a short distance of four major hospitals, the partnership hopes to change that. Plans include an exterior renovations, a new parking lot, a marketing campaign and cooperating with local brokers to lease the building. The building was acquired in an off-market transaction from the owner.
