Dodson has been active in the North Texas commercial real estate market for over 70 years! From C.B. Dodson’s first project, to Jerry Dodson’s continued investment, development, and management throughout the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s. For the last 20 years Ryan & Jerry have continued the family tradition of quality commercial real estate projects in North Texas.

DEVELOPMENT
From adaptive reuse of existing buildings, to ground-up construction of new buildings, Dodson is an experienced developer of projects with capitalizations ranging from $4 million to $25 million. We are experienced developers of office and medical office, urban mixed-use, urban redevelopment, historic downtown redevelopments, new condominiums, and residential subdivisions. We have a track record of partnering with Cities and municipalities, utilizing special district financing mechanisms such as TIF districts, and securing grants based on historic preservation.
CAPITAL
Dodson Capital actively invests in both Dodson sponsored projects and third-party opportunities. When raising capital for projects, our goal is to provide individual investors an opportunity to participate in professionally managed commercial real estate projects that diversify their portfolio and provide a passive investment with a good chance of above average returns. Many of our investors have participated in multiple projects and remain valued clients.
MANAGEMENT
Dodson currently has nearly $100 million in real estate assets under management ranging from urban infill mixed-use, retail, medical office, general office, industrial, apartments, condominiums, and development land. Our in-house staff uses the latest software and technology to provide customers and investors with the service they expect from a local management company. We consider ourselves a boutique management company but are large enough to provide a sophisticated and professional customer experience.
BROKERAGE
In 2020 Dodson partnered with Alex Bryant to launch an in-house 3rd party services division. Traditionally we have leased and managed only our own portfolio properties. We decided it was time to offer our high level of service and professionalism to other owners and users of high quality commercial real estate. Alex brings years of commercial tenant representation experience to the Dodson team, and will grow our brokerage presence in the DFW Market.
